Ramadan @ Dubai Ladies Club
Dubai Ladies Club is organised a host of activities to enlighten, inspire and relax you during the holy month of Ramadan.
Members and non-members alike were invited to participate in large selection of cultural and social events, art exhibitions and workshops. The workshops and events were open to ladies and children only.
During Ramadan, Dubai Ladies Club is open from 8 am till midnight.

Art Conversation with Sheikh Sultan Al Qassimi
Tuesday, 2 August

‘Art Conversations’ is a monthly series of open discussions on Art facilitated by leading luminary art experts from the local and international art scene. The series are being organised by Funoon, the art & culture division of Dubai Ladies Club, to provide a platform for the exchange of ideas and expertise related to the art, culture and education. These monthly Tuesday evening lecture series will continue during Ramadan with a special guest speaker: Sheikh Sultan Al Qassimi - Art collector and Founder of Barjeel Art Foundation.
Sultan Sooud Al Qassemi has played an integral role in establishing various platforms to recognize and promote art from diverse corners of the Arab world. As an art collector, his private collection of contemporary Arab artwork can be seen in rotating public exhibitions. Al Qassimi will discuss the varied aspects of an art collector's social responsibility and the evolution of collecting in the UAE over the past thirty years. Admission to this event is free for all interested men and women.

Ramadan Fashion Souq
Thursday & Friday, 4 - 5 August

During Ramadan, Dubai Ladies Club will host a special Fashion Souq showcasing a stunning collection of Jalabiyas and accessories, especially designed for the festive season. For 2 days only, the Al Mahara Ballroom will be transformed into a glimmering, glitzy fashion pavilion featuring 10 budding designers showcasing fresh and original fashion and accessories.

Dubai Ladies Club will host a 4-day Fashion Bazaar, organised by Thuraya Al Awadi, showcasing products and services by small businesses, some of which are owned by women. Items on offer will include clothes, home decorations and, especially, abayas and jalabiyas.

EVENTRA Ramadan Bazaar

Eventra, the creation of UAE’s Basma Al Fahim is all set to return for a second year fwith their annual Ramadan Fair at Dubai Ladies Club. Donate Your Bag Charity Campaign

Back by popular demand, Dubai Ladies Club is pleased to announce the launch of the annual Donate Your Bag Charity Campaign inviting ladies to donate their gently used designer bags and accessories such as sunglasses, jewellery and belts to be included in the special Charity Sale in mid-2012.
