Our Wellness Centre gym offers the most amazing views of the sea and beach.
Our gym is fitted with premium standard exercise equipment including:
- Cardiovascular and strength training stations, with the ultimate strength machines, treadmills, rowers, and cross-trainer machines
- Power Plate® machines
- Free weight stations
- A dedicated stretch and abs zone
- Personal training zone
TechnoGym Wellness System
DLC has partnered with the Technogym Wellness Key System to offer the most comprehensive health, fitness and performance based service available. We can now offer the combination of testing to establish and monitor physical benchmarks and high level training based on the results.
Only through understanding how your body works can you effectively reach your goals, the TechnoGym Wellness System can provide you with a unique insight into your body and create a platform for sustained success.
All members receive a complimentary TGS Starter Kit which can be combined with a variety of goal-oriented fitness programs.
PowerPlate
Power Plate equipment uses the principles of Acceleration Training to stimulate the body's natural response to vibration. The plate shifts in all 3 dimensions (up, down and side to side) just as our bodies do in everyday movements, to work the maximum number of muscles throughout the body.
Acceleration Training with a Power Plate machine creates instability in the human body, as with each vibration the body is forced to perform reflexive muscle actions 20 to 30 times per second - resulting in an incredible improvement in force production, or strength and power. This is a real breakthrough in training and conditioning as we can now optimally “load” the human frame while minimizing high impact, high load, and high stress factors whilst providing other health benefits such as an increase in blood circulation.
We have three ‘Next Generation PowerPlate’ machines in the Wellness Centre and two specialized trainers who are qualified to assess, design and lead you through a personally tailored PowerPlate program.
